National Military School and Junior College of Science, Gaigaon, Akola is one of the renowned and reputed school in Akola district run by ‘The Maharashtra Institute of Rural Development.’ Our school has been established in the year 2003 with a view to impart military discipline and training along with academic excellence to facilitate the entry of the youth in Armed services. The school was upgraded to Junior college in year 2008. At present the school is equipped with two sections from classes 6th to 10th and one section of science stream for classes XI and XII.

Away from the rumbling roar of traffic, the school campus spreads over 30 acres of land and boasts of an ideal infrastructure. The school has an efficient library, science labs, A. V. room with latest educational software’. Special efforts are taken for scholarship exams , MTS, NTS, PMT, PET, AIEEE, JEE, NDA, CDSE etc.
